Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an important technological advancement influencing Human Resource Management (HRM) practices in industrial sectors. The present study entitled “A Study on the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Human Resource Management Practices in Industrial Sectors” aims to examine the role and impact of AI on HRM activities such as recruitment, training, employee performance management, organizational productivity, and strategic decision-making. The study also identifies the opportunities and challenges associated with the adoption of AI-based HRM practices in industrial organizations. The study is based on descriptive research design and primarily uses primary data collected through a structured questionnaire from 130 respondents working in manufacturing, textile, engineering, IT, and automobile industries. Statistical tools such as Percentage Analysis, Chi-Square Test, and Correlation Analysis were used for data analysis. The findings reveal that Artificial Intelligence significantly improves HRM efficiency, recruitment processes, employee training, and performance evaluation systems. The study also found a strong positive relationship between AI and recruitment, training, and employee performance management. However, challenges such as lack of technical expertise, high implementation cost, data privacy concerns, and reduced human interaction were identified.
